KRMC Acute Care LPN

At the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practitioners, the Staff Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contributes to meeting patient's priority needs by assessing and participating in interdisciplinary care planning, providing delegated care and timely communication of the patient's response. The Staff LPN contributes to an efficient and effective work environment through activities including professional communication and documentation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Graduation from a School of Practical Nursing with current licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact

state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act. Must provide evidence of certification and/or

instruction for practice area as required by State or Federal standards/regulations.

OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:

Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.

NIH Stroke Scale certified within 6 months of hire.
