GENERAL SUMMARY:
Serves as a key player in supporting the testing center and student activities for the Bryan College of Health Sciences (BCHS). Coordinates disability-related testing accommodations for BCHS students with approved testing accommodations and student activities, including working with the Student Government Association (SGA) and supporting student organizations. Supports the Student Affairs administrative operations, including providing support for new student registration and new student orientation days. Fosters student success, satisfaction, and engagement in the college experience.
The position has a dual reporting relationship to the Dean of Students and the Academic Support Services Director.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

3. *Coordinates, schedules, and proctors’ exams for students receiving accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
4. Organizes all necessary materials for testing, including communication with faculty as it relates to exam information and relevant materials.
5. Ensures security and academic integrity of exam process.
6. Stays abreast of best practices for exam proctoring and coordination.
7. *Coordinates and executes college student activities for the academic year.
8. *Assists SGA members and faculty advisors in developing and planning college-wide activities.
9. *Assists with coordinating activities for the new student registration and new student orientation days.
10. Monitors and coordinates student community service opportunities, on or off campus.
11. Works with the Dean of Students on projects, including Clery Report, Annual Student Affairs Report, and other duties as assigned.
12. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
13. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.
14. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, health and human services, communication, or related area required. Master’s degree in student affairs preferred. Previous experience in higher education, student life/activities, ADA compliance or testing center, and event planning preferred.
