GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Compensation Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, communication, operations, monitoring and ongoing management of all Bryan Health compensation programs. This role ensures effective and efficient daily operations, compliance with regulatory requirements and high levels of service to employee customers and operations are compliant with Federal/state laws and regulations. The Compensation Manager plays a key role in positioning Bryan Health as an employer of choice in our region.
This role is open to remote, hybrid or onsite work locations.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
- *Assists with the development and maintenance of appropriate human resource policies and procedures.
- *Oversees the execution of day-to-day administration of all employee compensation programs.
- *Develops strategies to drive employee awareness and understanding of all compensation programs.
- *Leads Bryan Health through regular benchmarking cycles using best practices to analyze and assess market data and industry trends to maintain a competitive reward package.
- Provides regular and ad hoc reports upon request.
- *Utilizes data and conducts research to identify trends and recommends new plans/programs to attract, engage and retain employees.
- *Manages and maintains a comprehensive wage administration program, which supports recruitment and retention of highly qualified employees.
- *Ensures all vendors meet service expectations.
- *Makes recommendations into the budget process within identified timeframe and format specified; monitors budget compliance and justifies variances. Participates in the departmental budgetary procedure to ensure proper operational and capital planning; appropriate and efficient use of resources; and consistent compliance to budgetary and fiscal controls.
- *Provides leadership and oversight to the compensation team.
- Participates in and/or leads meetings, committees, strategic planning and department projects as assigned.
- *Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, coaching, mentoring, retaining and evaluating of staff.
- Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
- Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administrations or related field required. Minimum of six (6) years direct experience in compensation in the healthcare industry required with three (3) years supervising others required. CCP certification preferred.
